On the occasion of Republic Day, members of Urja Chattrapati Yuva Prathisthan visited the girls’ orphanage at the Matunga branch of The Salvation Army. Around 20–30 volunteers participated in the visit and donated essential school supplies including notebooks, pens, pencils, scales, colouring kits and writing pads to support the girls’ educational needs.
As only the girls were allowed to participate in the activities, the volunteers spent quality time engaging with them through various games and interactive sessions. The girls enthusiastically shared their talents, hobbies, and interests, creating a joyful and memorable experience for everyone present. The visit aimed to encourage the children, boost their confidence, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness and compassion on Republic Day.
